Creating Spaces That Restore
Why Space Matters
Every building sends a message to the people inside it. Most schools have a room for supplies, a room for copies, and a room for meetings. Very few have a room built for the people doing the work. A Serenity Space changes that message. It shows your staff and students that their capacity matters enough to build for it, and it gives them a real place to reset during the day.
Designed With Intention
Each Serenity Space is designed around your setting, your people, and how your day actually works. That might be a staff restoration room in an elementary school, a calming space for students in a middle school, or a faculty retreat on a university campus. Every design is grounded in the Capacity by Design™ framework, so the room is not just beautiful. It's built to be used.

Spaces That Give Back What the Day Takes
House of Nine-Thirteen designs Serenity Spaces for schools, districts, and universities. These are rooms built for staff and students to steady themselves during the day, not after it.
The Expertise Behind Every Space:
Where Psychology, Education, and Design Meet
Dr. Shamira Webb holds a PhD in Psychology and has built her career inside schools as a school counselor and an educator mental health and wellness facilitator. She also spent years running a successful event design business. That combination shapes every Serenity Space: an understanding of how people regulate and reset, firsthand knowledge of how a school day really works, and a designer's eye for creating rooms people actually want to be in.
A Recognized Voice for Educators
Founder of Educator Mental Health Awareness Month, the first proclamation of its kind in the nation. Her work has helped bring the wellbeing of the people who serve our schools into the public conversation.
Rooted in Capacity by Design™
